Boost Legacy Network is an independent gaming blog out of Highgate. We publish long-form reviews, ranked-climb guides and honest hardware breakdowns — no hype cycles, no paid scores.

Our Story
We started Boost Legacy Network in a share-house off Beaufort Street in 2016, frustrated that most reviews landed before the credits rolled. Everything we publish is played to completion — campaigns finished, ranked ladders climbed, servers stress-tested on real Australian connections.
Today the team covers PC, console and handheld across every genre, with a soft spot for the local indie scene and the Oceania competitive circuit. We are reader-funded, so our scores answer to you — not to a publisher’s embargo calendar.

Good to Know
Never. Boost Legacy Network is entirely reader-funded through memberships and voluntary tips. We accept review copies for coverage timing, but no money, gift or embargo ever influences a score. If a game is bad, we say so.
We finish the game first — main campaign complete, or 40+ ranked hours for multiplayer titles. Scores weigh gameplay, technical performance on Australian servers, value for money in AUD, and how the game holds up a month after launch.
Absolutely. We love hearing from Australian and New Zealand studios. Email us at [email protected] with a build or press kit. We reply to every pitch within two weeks, even the ones we can’t cover.
Every review, guide and podcast episode is free with no login wall. Membership (from A$6/month) is optional and unlocks the ad-free reader, early podcast access and our private Discord — but it never gates the journalism.
We work out of a small studio at 185 Beaufort Street, Highgate WA 6003. We’re not a retail shop, but we host community game nights most months — details go out first to members and on our newsletter.
